A marvellous location, I would definitely go back. The hotel is fairly clean, big. 15 minutes drive to the airport, it is located near the museum. Nice and really kind staff here in assisting queries...

the hotel is charming, and the staff really nice. The terrace is fantastic to drink a tea during the evening. The breakfast is very good as well, fresh orange juice, tea, crepes...
It's very difficult to find. Because of the patio interior you can hear people coming late or going out early, it's a bit noisy.

Very peacefull and silence place. Good breakfast with different hot breads on patio. Real moroccan atohmosphere, simple and tasteful décor.
Very difficult to find the first day, take the transfer service offered by the Riad, or let yourself be guided by young people who are waiting the new tourist, paying of course! (into the Medina there is no street names!, narrow streets, rambling, with no possibility of orientation points... When arriving ask for his map/scheme handmade to go to Place Jema)

This great Riad to the North East of the Souks, is in a good location. Easy to spend the day shopping in the Marrakech madness and then come back to a tranquil haven. However, this Riad can be a little difficult to find, especially if you are foolish enough to attempt to find it in the dark. You'll be relieved to know that the kind host of the Riad will go out of her way to help you, evevn coming to find you outside the Marrakech museum . The Riad is comfortable and the breakfast is basic but nice. The host will cook dinner for you if you let her know in advance but do be aware that it is more of a residential area, so there are not many restaurants around.
As mentioned above the Riad is a little hard to find, especially at night. But once you walked there a couple of times you'll find it without any problems.

The location was exceptionally nice, just a short walk to the main square and attractions of Marrakesh. It was also in an alley very close to the Riad.

The room, decor, meals and staff were wonderful
The hotel was very difficult to find - they should have a marker with an arrow to the correct small side road (alley) in the road mentioned in the address (which we were able to find - eventually!)

On our last day at the riad major works started e.g. digging up the courtyard, the staff explained we were the last guests as the place was closing for 2 months for a complete overhaul. It should be a really nice place to stay when the works done, especially if they don't put up their prices. The staff struggle with english but this is the case all over marrakesh, french is spoken far more but we could usually get our point across. Hard place to find but you'll have no shortage of would be guides offering to show you the way for a few dirham.

Walking in off the street I was not expecting what I encountered here. Riad Dar Nael was very clean and beautiful with an excellent view from the terrace. I stayed at another Riad another night and the terrace at the other did not compare either in comfort or in scenery.
I did not like the fact that guests do not have a key to the outside door from the street. It was only a small inconvenience but I had to ring the doorbell every time I returned to the Riad.
